Hey Bellator, this would be an incredible match up to add for NYC.

Connecticut’s own rising Bellator welterweight Vinicius de Jesus released a video late Friday night calling out Dillon Danis, whose been campaigning to make his pro debut on the inaugural card.

Danis (0-0 BMMA) is known mostly for being Conor McGregor’s jiu jitsu coach. Earlier in the week he made headlines claiming the Bellator NYC pay-per-view will tank without putting him on it. Sounds like McGregor is the one doing the coaching this time.

De Jesus (5-1 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) won his Bellator debut in November at Bellator 163 with a second-round submission over James Boran. He was scheduled for his second appearance with the promotion at Bellator 178 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT in two weeks but the bout was called off when his opponent withdrew.

Danis and De Jesus, both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts, are also high ranked, local fighters. Share and re-post the YouTube video above and lets make this happen!
