College Rutgers Football Media Day 2015 Set for Sunday Aug. 16 by Staff Post August 14, 2015 Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood (NJ.com) Fresh off of Big Ten Media Days at the end of July and the start of training camp this past week, Rutgers football will hold their own annual Media Day this Sunday and Double G Sports will have you covered. Myself, along with Managing Editor Jayson Love and photographer Jeff Auger, will provide coverage of the event to help get you set for the start of the season in the next couple of weeks. At 1 p.m. head coach Kyle Flood will hold a press conference in the Brown Football Recruiting Pavilion located in the South End Zone of High Point Solutions Stadium. Following Flood, defensive coordinator Joe Rossi will speak and answer questions at 1:30 p.m. First year offensive coordinator Ben McDaniels will do the same starting at 1:45 p.m. Proceeding the three main coaches, from 2-3 p.m., the other assistant coaches and select players will be made available to the media. This is usually the only time during the season that the coordinators and assistant coaches will get to talk to reporters. In addition to coverage of media day, look for updates from training camp as we get closer to Sept. 5 when the Scarlet Knights take on the Spartans of Norfolk State at noon. As always, keep it locked to DoubleGSports.com for your Rutgers football fix. *If you have any questions you would like us to try and ask the coaches/players, feel free to leave them in the comment section. In addition, don’t hesitate to comment and reply on all our articles as feedback and conversation is encouraged.
