College Rutgers Football: O-Line Pride Starts With Coach Kyle Flood Article written by Darnell Stapleton. Kyle Flood has always been one of the behind the scenes members making the biggest difference on the Rutgers football coaching staff. by Staff Post July 7, 2010 [This article was written by Double G Sports contributing writer Darnell Stapleton.] Some of you may feel I’m a little bias with this topic, but I truly believe that Kyle Flood, Rutgers O-line coach for the last 5 seasons, is one of the most underrated coaches on the Scarlet knights staff! In the last 5 seasons he has had 3 players drafted into the NFL, 6 more sign free agent contracts, and has had one of his former players win a Super Bowl! In that same period, his offensive line units have been ranked #1 and #2 nationally in sacks allowed in a season! You ask, what is his secret to success? The Fundamentals. Being a former player of Coach Flood I know that every season I played for him he focused on fundamentals and trained reactions! Training your mind and body to respond to certain looks and actions the defense presents! Even with the loss of three starters up front I still believe the key this year for the offense to be successful is the O-line. The offense and the team will only go as far as the five men up front will take them! This means running the ball efficiently and being able to keep QB Tom Savage up-right at moments where they need to throw the ball! I know they have the right guy leading that group, it just comes down to the players buying in to what is being taught! prograf drug information crestor indications and usage price compazine black box tabs dipyridamole elimination for sale bupropion sr side effects mayo clinic usa Buy mini lasagna cups kevin and amanda viagra cialis levitra side effects hcl proventil drug classification drug clonidine for autism side effects naproxen ibuprofen same usa Post Views: 1,389 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Staff Post Latest posts by Staff Post (see all) In The Zone Announces Initial Podcast Lineup - November 13, 2020 The Essential Resources You Need to Start Your Own Gym in 2020 - February 6, 2020 Wilder vs Fury II – How the second fight will be different to the first? - February 5, 2020 Early turnovers, defensive struggles plague the Scarlet Knights - January 26, 2020 Related TopicsCoachingFootballKyle FloodOffensive LineRutgers Scarlet Knights Click to comment You must be logged in to post a comment Login Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
