College Rutgers Football Pro Day Set For Wednesday March 9 Huggins, Nova returning for Pro Day. by Staff Post March 6, 2016 PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football will host its annual Pro Day on Wednesday, March 9 inside the Rutgers Indoor Practice Bubble at 9:30 a.m. For the seventh-straight year, RVision will broadcast Pro Day live beginning at 10 a.m. Emmy Award-winning sports anchor Bruce Beck and former Rutgers defensive end Jamaal Westerman will host the Pro Day special. Among the various on-field drills and testing, Pro Day participants will take part in the 40-yard dash, vertical and broad jumps, three-cone drill and several position-specific workouts. And just like last year, DoubleGSports.com will be there to cover all the action in front of NFL scouts. Former Rutgers Scarlet Knights expected to participate in Pro Day include fullback Sam Bergen, wide receiver Leonte Carroo, kicker Kyle Federico, linebacker Quentin Gause, running back Paul James, middle linebacker Kaiwan Lewis, linebacker Steve Longa, offensive tackle Keith Lumpkin, defensive lineman Djwany Mera and punter Joey Roth. Former Rutgers quarterback Gary Nova and running back Savon Huggins will also participate in Rutgers Pro Day. It appears Carroo has the best chance to be drafted, followed by Longa and Lumpkin.
