The Big Ten Conference released their weekly awards and the Rutgers Women’s Soccer team took home all three of the honors.

Sophomore forward Colby Ciarrocca was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, goalkeeper Casey Murphy was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week, and freshman defender Adora Moneme was named Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week.

Murphy and the Scarlet Knights recorded two shutout wins on the week. The first came against Ohio State on October 15. Rutgers followed that up with another shutout win, this time over then-No. 9 ranked Penn State on October 18.

Murphy leads the Big Ten in shutouts, save percentage, and goals-against average this season. Her goals-against average is second best in the country and her save percentage is fourth best nationally.

In addition to the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor, Murphy was also named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Women’s Division I Player of the Week.

Ciarrocca scored two goals this past weekend, including the game-winner against Penn State. She leads the Scarlet Knights with five goals and 13 points this season.

Moneme, a freshman defender, scored the game winner in the 2-0 win over Ohio State. This is the first weekly honor of her career.
