Pro Wrestling Si! Lucha Underground is Coming Back! Are you Ready? by Daniel Yanofsky December 16, 2015 For months, fans have been wondering if they would ever see Lucha Underground again. A promising show on the El Rey Network, LU gained millions of followers due to its respect and innovation of lucha libre in professional wrestling. Its fate was unclear after its Ultima Lucha event, as nothing was officially set in stone for a return. Well, the wait is over Believers. Starting January 27th, Lucha Underground is back! httpss://twitter.com/LuchaElRey/status/675867444724957185 I for one am extremely excited. I previously shared how thankful I was for the promotion existing. From out of nowhere, Lucha Underground has been a must watch show every time it’s on the air. The colors, the passion, and of course, the wrestlers make this a hot commodity. These individuals put their bodies on the line night in and night out for every fan’s enjoyment in The Temple. Here are just a few examples of the amazing display of athleticism by these lucha warriors: httpss://twitter.com/meandmyself9/status/669999620865589248 View post on imgur.com https://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m66/kotw_2006/download_zpsocsup7vb.gif It starts with one of the best on-screen authority figures in quite some time, Dario Cueto. Three person (male and female) tag teams, strong women wrestlers, mystical creatures, Lucha Underground has it all. From the young phenom Prince Puma, the insanely evil but gifted Pentagon Jr., the athletic and independent Sexy Star, and Rey Mysterio… Wait; did I just say Rey Mysterio? httpss://twitter.com/LuchaElRey/status/675849137678639104 Oh my! The former WWE star has taken his talents to LU, where his craft is respected and innovated. A great move by the company, as they get a veteran who can help promote what should be a great show. As long as Rey is healthy, which is always questionable, it could be a lucrative partnership. As rumors continue to spread after every Lucha Underground taping, the more I get excited. There will be no spoilers, but I guarantee this will be a great season for LU. The old school wrestling style that was once missing from wresting promotions may be back and better than ever. Coming off a wave of momentum, it’s time to get our lucha on! httpss://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-pZs6wO0sI Post Views: 1,192 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Daniel Yanofsky Baseball Editor, Misc.
