SI Yankees Hit All-Star Break After Offensive Outburst

The S.I. Yankees bats showed out Sunday Night, as they amounted 14 hits and 11 runs. The Yankees scored in six of the nine innings, as they demolished State College. This win moves them a half game behind of Hudson Valley for the division lead.

Kane Sweeney and Dalton Blaser were both 3-5 on the night. Angel Aguilar led the way with five RBI, including a two-run home run in the 4th inning. His bases loaded double in the 7th cleared the bases to drive in three more Yankees.
On the pitching end, Jonathan Padilla got the win as he went six innings, allowing no runs and striking out five. Padilla is now 2-1 on the year.
The Yankees will be back in action Wednesday Night to start a crucial three game stand against rivals, Brooklyn Cyclones.Tonight, three Yankees, Nick Solak, Drew Bridges, and Kolton Mahoney will represent in the New York-Penn League All – Star Game. The game will be played at Duchess Stadium, home of the Hudson Valley Renegades.
