Bridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots have announced the signing of former Rutgers outfielder Tom Marcinczyk. He joins Somerset after concluding his collegiate career at Rutgers University earlier this year. In his senior season at Rutgers, Marcinczyk played in 52 games and hit .274 with seven home runs, 29 runs batted in, and 32 runs scored while hitting in the middle of the Rutgers’ lineup. Marcinczyk also recorded 10 doubles and three triples while stealing eight bases as the team’s every day right fielder.
