INTERVIEW: Stephanie Montgomery shares her love of baseball with new children’s book (VIDEO)

Stephanie Montgomery, author and wife of Kansas City Royals pitcher Mike Montgomery, is sharing her love of baseball with her new children’s book: Max & Ollie’s Guide to Baseball. This picture book, inspired by her son, Max, and family pup Ollie, teaches America’s youth about the game of baseball. But the impact of this story doesn’t end there. She and her husband Mike wanted to continue supporting local charities.

A portion of the proceeds from each book sold will be given to charities supporting women and children through their family foundation, Monty’s Marvels. In addition, the family is partnering with Royals Charities to benefit local Kansas City organizations.

Double G Sports‘ Tara Bernstein had the opportunity to chat with Stephanie Montgomery about the release of the book.
