Events Superstar Chefs Create Special Dishes for Rangers Playoff Run Baked by Melissa, Anne Burrell and Mario Batali. by Staff Post April 16, 2015 PHOTO: BAKED BY MELISSA At Noon on Thursday April 16, at Chase Square at Madison Square Garden, three superstar chefs will unveil food for a post season run. And the first 200 fans in line will be offered a chance to taste these one-of-a-kind specialties. To help kick off the playoffs, Adam Graves and Rod Gilbert will be on hand and Bill Pidto and Ron Duguay will emcee the event. The three superstars who will be dishing out some top notch playoff fare are: Baked by Melissa, Anne Burrell and Mario Batali. Baked by Melissa will showcase 2300 mini cupcakes in a special Ranger design. Anne Burrell has created a “Rangers Quest for the Cup Cookie”, which is the old-fashioned Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookie that she has featured in her latest cookbook, OWN YOUR KITCHEN. Mario Batali has created an all new Go Rangers pizza, that will consist of tomato sauce, Joe’s Dairy fresh and smoked mozzarella, D’Artagnan Uncured Duck Hot Dogs, caramelized onions, poppy seeds, a drizzle of mustard, oil and OTTO pickled peppers. And if you are not one of the 200 that can taste this pizza on Thursday, it will be available for the duration of the playoffs at OTTO Enoteca e Pizzeria. So if you are anywhere near Chase Square at MSG around noon, stop over and partake of some fabulous eats.
