Soccer The best time ever for New York City FC: now the final test by Stefano Bentivogli July 17, 2018 Domenec Torrent seems to have found the right path. The last week was a dream for New York City FC that won three points in three games without conceding a goal. A series of positive results that launched the City towards the top of the ranking. Atlanta is now only one point ahead and the Blues must also recover a game to play. Extraordinary period for the Torrent team which now seems to have also found a good continuity of results. It is no coincidence that the City has the highest points average of the Eastern Conference. The average of New York is two points per game, better than Atlanta with 1.95 and the Red Bulls who have an average of 1.94 points per game. The City runs at a frantic pace, Yankee Stadium has become a real blockhouse for the Blues, in front of their fans have never known a defeat. Numbers and situations show how New York City FC is the team to beat and the best in the whole championship. In the next two rounds of the championship will come the final test for the City that will be engaged in two trips. Far from the Bronx, New York must improve its trend (2-4-3) if it wants to prove to be without a doubt the best team in the league. Meanwhile, the City and its fans continue to dream.
