College The Covid Corner – First Edition by Peter Snyder April 1, 2020 Hey guys! I hope everyone who is reading this is staying safe and sane during these struggling times. As we are all very much aware, the world of sports is currently taking a hiatus and has left much of the nation in an apathetic state. While the sports world may be stopped, one avenue that is more prevalent than ever is social media. Athletes, members of the media and personalities in between, have taken it upon themselves to make creative content through their social platforms. This is where the idea of the Covid Corner comes in. I want you, as the fan, to experience and see what you’re favorite player or sports personality is doing to get through this global pandemic. Basically, the Covid corner is going to be a weekly segment, that gathers a bevvy of content from various social media platforms. I also want to note that the content presented in this week’s COVID corner has all taken place during the last calendar week. The reason for this is that I want the CC to stay as relevant and fresh as possible. No more waiting, the time has come, I now present to you, the Covid Corner. https://twitter.com/HoHighlights/status/1244836152881733633?s=20 A message from Mike Breen. #NBATogether pic.twitter.com/ccs9TBejh7 — NBA (@NBA) March 25, 2020 We accept @RandyScottESPN #DKrally to pair with @DraftKings and @UnitedWay to rally against Caronavirus!!
