With the UFC 217 main and co-main event title bouts official, the under card match ups are now beginning to roll out. New Jersey’s own Corey Anderson will face Patrick Cummins in a light-heavyweight bout. Cummins'(10-4) is coming off a split-decision win over Long Island’s Gian Villante at UFC on FOX 25 in July. The #12 ranked light-heavyweight is on a two-fight win streak. His last defeat inside the octagon was to Antônio Rogério Nogueira in 2016. Anderson (9-3) is coming off of a first-round loss to Jimi Manuwa in March. The #8 ranked light-heavyweight headlined the London fight night with Mauwa. Prior to the first round KO loss, Anderson defeated Sean O’Connell at the UFC’s first visit to Albany at UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Abdurakhimov in December. Fellow 205-er’s Gadzhimurad Antigulov (20-4) and unranked Ion Cutelaba (13-3-1) will also be featured on the UFC 217 under card. Antigulov is on a 14-fight win streak and undefeated in the UFC since making his debut in 2016. While Cutelaba is 2-2 with the promotion since making his debut in May of 2016. Top 15 heavyweights Aleksei Oleinik and Curtis Blaydes will meet in the octagon as well. Oleinik is the #11 ranked heavyweight whom has an outstanding 52 professional fights. Oleinik (52-10-1) is on a two fight win streak with his most recent win over Travis Browne at UFC 213. Blaydes (7-1-1), the UFC’s #15 ranked heavyweight, is coming off a win of his own at UFC 213 against Daniel Omielańczuk. Ticket sales will now kick off a week later than planned. Double G Sports’ previously reported a strawweight title bout, which has yet to be confirmed by the promotion.
