Shaeffer Hall pitched 6 1/3 solid innings but did not factor in the decision. Cory Arbiso relieved Hall in the Seventh Inning and picked up the win Raising his record to 2-1 on the season. Akron started with Carlos Carrasco on the hill who is on a rehab stint from the Cleveland Indians. Carrasco was touched for 4 runs on four hits with three walks before being lifted. Akron who got half their runs on back to back errors by SS Jose Pirela in the eighth inning to tie the game at 4-4.
