Uncategorized Ticket Prices Affordable For March Madness Action At Barclays by Staff Post March 16, 2016 South and East region action of the NCAA Tournament will tip off on Friday, March 18th in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center. Friday’s slate of games is split into two sessions. Session #1, which starts at 12:30 PM EST, features two South Region games. Fans hoping to watch a full slate of games will need to buy a separate ticket for Session #2, which starts at 7:10 PM EST on Friday evening and features East Region games. Session #3, which will start on Sunday, March 20th at 1:00PM EST, will feature games between Session #1 winners and Session #2 winners. Ticket prices and session overviews are presented below. 3/18/16 Session #1 | South Region: Villanova vs. UNC Asheville / Iowa vs. Temple | Get-in: $61 On Friday, in the South Region, the 2nd-seeded Villanova Wildcats (29-5) will square against the 15th-seeded UNC Asheville Bulldogs (22-11) at 12:40 PM EST. Villanova lost the Big East championship to Seton Hall, but won the Big East regular season championship. UNC Asheville caught fire during the Big South tournament and bested top seeded Winthrop, 77-68 in the championship game. The winner of this game will square off against the winner of the Iowa and Temple contest. The 7th-seeded Iowa Hawkeyes (21-10) will square off against the 10th-seeded Temple Owls (22-10) at 3:40 PM EST. Iowa has lost five of its last six games, but was consensus Top 5 team during the middle of the season. Temple won the American Athletic Conference regular season title, but lost to the red hot Connecticut Huskies in the AAC Tournament. Austin / ND vs. Michigan/Tulsa | Get-in: $100 After the South region wraps up its early slate of games, teams in the East Region will take the court. In the East Region, the No. 3-seeded West Virginia Mountaineers (26-8) will square off against the 14th-seeded Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks (27-5) at 7:10 PM EST. West Virginia is a talented team, but lost the Big 12 Championship game to the No. 1 overall-seeded Kansas Jayhawks. Stephen F. Austin has become a fixture in the NCAA Tournament and went undefeated in Southland Conference play. The winner of this game will face the winner of the Notre Dame’s game against either the Michigan Wolverines or Tulane Golden Hurricane, who will play in the First Four on Thursday night. 3/20/16 Session #3 | East, South Region (Second Round Games) | Get-in: $110 Session #3 will pit the two winners from Session #1 against each other and the two winners from Session #2 against each other. A potential Philadelphia match-up could be in play if Villanova and Temple both win their opening round games. In the East region, fans could watch an intriguing Notre Dame, West Virginia match-up.
