Time to DOOP, What is going on with the Philadelphia Union as Playoffs Approach

Chester PA: The push for the MLS Playoffs continues on for the Philadelphia Union as they try to get one of the top spots.

On September 21, the Union would receive some good news as LAFC would draw against Toronto & would confirm that the Philadelphia Union will host a playoff match in the 2019 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.

This would be the Union 2nd ever home playoff game  in the teams history, their first game was in 2011 in loss to Houston.

If the MLS playoffs started today, here is how it would look

So what is the road like for the Union?

Sep 22: at New York Red Bulls at 6:30 PM on PHL 17
Sep 25 at San Jose Earthquakes at 11PM on Live Well Network
Sep 29 at Columbus Crew SC at 5PM on PHL 17
Oct 6 vs NYCFC at 4PM on 6ABC

When the Union play San Jose, they will catch a big break thanks to a red card.

MLS would also announce their 2019 MLS Award nominees and here are what players for the Philadelphia Union are up for:

MVP: Haris Medunjanin and Kacper Przybylko
Defender of Year: Jack Elliott and Kai Wagner
Newcomer of the Year: Jamiro Monteiro and Kai Wagner
Allstate Goalkeeper of the Year: Andre Blake
MLS WORKS Humanitarian of the Year: Warren Creavalle
AT&T Rookie of the year:
Brenden Aaronson
Comeback Player of the Year: Kacper Przybylko
Sigi Schmid Coach of the Year:  Jim Curtin

When the Union take on the Red Bulls on Sep 22, there will be a different feel when it comes to its game broadcast.

It has been a while since the Union sent their pregame and  game announcers to a road site and lots of fans have been wondering how come they dont do it more often. This is a big step for bigger things to come for the local game broadcast.

The 2019 season for the Union has been something awesome, and it starting to get more people in Philadelphia involved and talking about the Union and now the local news stations are showing the game highlights and the radio stations like 97.5 the Fanatic, 94.1 WIP & Fox Sports The Gambler are talking about the Union.
