MMA TJ Dillashaw Puts $100K Where His Fists Are, Should Cruz Accept? by Kristine Haugsjaa September 24, 2016 (Photo by Josh Hedges/Zuffa LLC/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images) So this is what it’s come to, eh? Former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw (14-3-0) must really want his rematch against Champion Dominick Cruz (22-1-0) after putting a video up on his Instagram challenging Cruz to a rematch on Friday, with a heft wager. The post caption read: Yo what’s up guys, first things first I need to congratulate @dominickcruz for making the comeback he did. But it’s time to put your money where your mouth is, tired of all the drama no more campaigning or talking shit to get this title fight rematch. I’m willing to bet 100k that I beat you in a rematch, you win I fight for free you lose you match my bet. Time to put up or shut up! I believe I’m the better fighter and just want to prove it. Where you at, don’t be scared homie. this is as real as it gets! You Talking about money fights, look no more here it is! I obviously believe in myself do you? Undefeated #6 Bantamweight and Dillashaw’s former Alpha Male teammate Cody “No Love” Garbrandt (10-0-0) has also had his eye on Cruz, calling out the champ directly after his first-round KO win at UFC 202 against Takeya Mizugaki. “No Love” replied to his former teammate-turned-rival, making an implication that the USADA testing has changed Dillashaw’s performance. What are we out here campaigning for title shots now I’ll smack ya both around Tj you aren’t the same with @usantidoping in the game! The 135-pound champion has yet to reply on social media to Dillashaw or Garbrandt. However, he will be joining UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier as the color-commentators for Saturday’s FOX Sports 1 card, UFC Fight Night 95: Cyborg vs. Lansberg so I would bet that $100K the topic will be discussed.
