Pro Wrestling TNA announces the signing of five new huge additions to their roster by Daniel Yanofsky March 25, 2016 The TNA roster has gone through some major changes over the past few months. Just recently, the company lost TNA originals Bobby Roode and Eric Young after they requested their release. Kurt Angle just recently retired from the company as well. While they are officially off the roster, TNA is thriving with young talent who can take their place. It looks like the company has added a few more members into their family. In a press release, TNA announced they have signed five new stars to the company. They have acquired Thomas La Ruffa and Mikael Vierge, Laura Dennis, Jesse Guilmette and Marshe Rockett. All five wrestlers bring a unique asset to the TNA roster. httpss://twitter.com/IMPACTWRESTLING/status/713097455085101056 In a statement provided by TNA, the company had the following to say: “We welcome all five of these amazing athletes as the newest members of the TNA IMPACT WRESTLING roster and look forward to seeing them in action on IMPACT WRESTLING in the near future.” Jesse Guilmette is best known as Pepper Parks, an athletic powerhouse, while Laura Dennis is the popular Cherry Bomb. The latter is one of the most popular women wrestlers on the Independent scene. Both wrestlers are married to one another, joining Maria and Mike Bennett as another successful couple to join TNA. Cherry Bomb will be a welcoming sight to the Knockouts division, joining established wrestlers like Gail Kim, Jade and Velvet Sky. httpss://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqhe1DsXEk0 If La Ruffa and Vierge seem familiar, your eyes have not deceived you. These two were once on NXT as Marcus Louis and Sylvester LeFort, The Legionnaires. Highly regarded in the system, they weren’t used as often as the other talent. It appears the team will look to make an impact (pun intended) with TNA. In regards to these two men, the company stated: “Tom and Mikael want to be considered the benchmark for tag teams in IMPACT WRESTLING and their desire to be the best has set them apart from their peers.” Last but certainly not least, Marshe Rockett is a young star who may be a force to be reckoned with in TNA. Known as Mr. M80 for his amazing offensive ability, Rockett’s cutter finisher has spelled the end for all of his opponents. There may be some huge potential with this man on the TNA roster. A youth movement has emerged in TNA, and it may very well be for the better. With Drew Galloway as their champion and a plethora of rising stars, Impact Wrestling may be attaining some much needed momentum. The future looks bright, and if these new talents can be utilized to the best of their ability, we could see something truly special happening in TNA.
