Soccer Tony Rocha, the new versatile player for New York City FC by Stefano Bentivogli December 15, 2018 After the return or confirmation of Maxime Chanot, New York City FC has officially announced the arrival of Tony Rocha. The 25-year-old midfielder arrives from Orlando, he has played the last three seasons. He’s a player who can prove to be very valuable for Torrent. One of Rocha’s qualities is in fact its great versatility. Rocha can play in multiple roles and can be a great asset for the City coach. Dome Torrent has commented the arrival of Tony Rocha at the official site of NYCFC: “I really like Tony as a player and he’s proven to be extremely versatile during his time in Orlando. Playing both midfield and defense, we think he’ll fit our system quite well and provide us with quality depth across the pitch.” An unexpected arrival that of Rocha but that will prove to be very useful for the next season, because of the qualities of the player and his ample room for improvement. He should be a great asset for City in the future.
