Hockey US Sets its Roster for the u18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament by Staff Post July 6, 2015 from: twitter.com The Ivan Hlinka Memorial Ice Hockey Tournament will begin in August and the US has their Under 18 roster all set. The Tournament is named after the first great player to hail from the Czech Republic and will be an eight team tourney. The teams that will take part in this vaunted tournament will be Russia, the Czech Republic, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Slovakia and the United States. The Tournament will take place between August 10-15 in Breclav, Czech Republic and Piestany, Slovakia. Derek Plante of Cloquet, Minnesota has been named the Head Coach of the team and his staff of Assistant Coaches is as follows: Clark Donatelli from Providence , Rhode Island; Bob Mancini from Seaford, New York and Phil Osaer from Livonia, Michigan. The team will consist of 13 Forward, 7 Defensemen and 2 Goaltenders.
