NFL Week 14 Betting Predictions and Teaser Picks

As we reach Week 14 of the NFL regular season, the bye weeks are over. That means we get a huge slate of games to choose from while making our Week 14 betting predictions, and more choices are always welcome.

With more games than usual going off on Sunday, the action will be even more plentiful than it has been for most of the season.

Whether you want to bet moneylines, spreads, totals, parlays, or dabble in some live wagering…online sportsbooks in New Jersey among other states have everything you can think of. At these sites, there’s something for every kind of bettor, and that encompasses every single game on the schedule.

All that said, we are choosing to keep things simple. Below, we’re using odds from DraftKings to preview a couple of Week 14 matchups and provide you with a teaser you can take to the bank by employing some alternate lines.

Week 14 Betting Predictions

Steelers vs. Bills Picks | Week 14 SNF Predictions

This game is a matchup between two playoff teams in the AFC and actually has huge implications, but we are looking at the total rather than the spread.

The Steelers’ offense has struggled in recent weeks but gets a Buffalo defense it can handle here after a couple of low-scoring affairs. Pittsburgh does have a vaunted defense but we’ve also seen the Bills put points up on everyone, and this is a team that is generous to over bettors on both sides of the ball.

This one just lends itself to points being put on the board. All signs lead us to believing this game could get to 50 points or more, as long as the December weather in Western New York doesn’t play too big of a role.

Pick: Steelers-Bills Over 48 Points (-110)

Browns vs. Ravens Predictions | Week 14 Monday Night Football Picks

The Browns are a playoff team and deserve credit for that. In its current form, this team can challenge anyone not named Kansas City or Pittsburgh, and that includes the Ravens. So is it time for Cleveland to cement its role in the second place spot in the AFC North?

Not so fast. There were some (myself included) doubting the Ravens recently. And while a win over the lowly Cowboys doesn’t mean much, the 38-6 pounding in Week 1 still does. That game feels like it was 100 years ago, true, but this Cleveland run still leaves us with some questions about this team.

Until last week, the Browns’ schedule was laden with bad teams and the win against Tennessee may have inflated their value just a bit. While this spread is still under three points at Baltimore -2.5, take the Ravens on the road to thrust themselves back into the postseason mix.

Pick: Baltimore Ravens -2.5 (-110)

Week 14 NFL Teaser/Alternate Lines Parlay

Teasers are a popular bet among NFL fans looking to wager on multiple games, and for those who are unsure about the point spread set by oddsmakers and want to modify the lines a bit. Teasers are just parlays with alternate lines, so call the wager whatever you like.

Below, we’ve found three games and taken some alternate lines that add up to +148 odds at DraftKings. The payout is smaller than most parlays, but the wager is considered safer.

Green Bay Packers ML (Originally -8.5): Detroit impressed last week and may be able to hang in with Green Bay at home, but the Packers have so much more to play for and are on a serious roll right now. Aaron Rodgers will likely put up 30+ points and it will be up to Detroit to play keep up once again. Green Bay wins, but we are eliminating the spread to be safe.

Minnesota Vikings +10.5 (Originally +6.5): Minnesota plays down against bad competition but has still won five of six games. Kirk Cousins is playing pretty well, throwing nine touchdowns to just one interception over his past three games. Take a few extra points against a Tampa Bay team whose defense has suddenly fallen by the wayside.

Eagles-Saints Under 50 (Originally O/U 43): With Taysom Hill and Jalen Hurts at quarterback and the game being played on the real grass in Philly, this one could be a slow mover. The Eagles will try to run the ball, either with the dual-threat QB or with Miles Sanders, while the Saints will continue doing the same. This is a tough spot for Hurts and it’d be surprising to see Philly put up many points. Taking a few extra on the total feels very safe.
