First things first: I highly recommend you view the NWA’s Ten Pounds of Gold mini-series. The organization has produced some of the best original content out there, especially leading up to the NWA Worlds Title match.

One of the key matches that was first put together when announcing “All In” was Cody Rhodes v. Nick Aldis for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. This match is more important than you could ever know.

Since its inception, the NWA has prided itself on tradition and class. Over the last 20 years, the idea of the NWA and its titles have not been treated so kindly. Over the past two years, however, something has changed. The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship is being presented in a manner it has not been in for quite some time. The match between Cody and Nick has become one of the most talked-about bouts in quite some time, and it is all thanks to the fans, Billy Corgan and other factors.

Cody Rhodes is building what his dad Dusty made and giving it the platform it deserves. Whether he wins or not, or whether the match is the main event or not doesn’t matter, it is about creating a moment.
