College Wright-Foreman earns MBWA weekly award by Chris Passarelli December 4, 2018 Well, Justin Wright-Foreman is at it again, earning yet another award in what is a historic season. He earned the esteemed Met Basketball Writers Association weekly award. It was the first award of his collegiate career and a huge honor to receive. The Pride followed Wright-Foreman’s lead again, going 2-0 against two tough opponents in Siena and Kennesaw State. Hofstra won their first game against Siena 94-86, and had a bit of a laugher against Kennsaw State, 78-52. Wright-Foreman averaged 24 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in the two contests. Against Siena, JWF scored 28 points and added four assists. Against Kennesaw State, JWF scored 20 points, added five assists and five rebounds. In some more good news for the stud senior guard, Wright-Foreman will soon become just the tenth player in Hofstra basketball history to score 1,600 points in their career. He is just six points shy, currently sitting at 1,594 points.
