On Tuesday Morning, Scott O’Neil revealed new Philadelphia 76ers logos.

The new logo has a blue circular border added to the 76ers infamous basketball. At the top half of the border, it reads “Philadelphia” while the bottom half has six stars.

Did you know that the Philadelphia 76ers are getting new uniforms as well? Unlike the logo, the uniforms will be announced with pictures on Thursday June 18.  The new uniforms will be introduced at Wells Fargo Center, O’Neil announced.

The Philadelphia 76ers will begin play with the new uniforms at the start of the 2015-2016 season.

There will be a big event held at Wells Fargo Center. This event is open to the public and admission is free. There will be current and some of the greatest 76ers to ever hit the court at the event. Make sure to keep an eye out for Allen Iverson, Billy Cunningham, Darryl Dawkins, the sister of the late Wilt Chamberlain and even Barbara Chamberlain-Lewis.

“Just a nip and a tuck,” said O’Neil when describing the new logo.

It’s a great way to make a fresh start to a new season

I know I’m ready.
