Baseball Somerset Patriots Release 2016 Schedule by Somerset Patriots October 27, 2015 Bridgewater, NJ – The 2015 Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots have announced their schedule for the 2016 season. Click Here For Full Schedule! The Somerset Patriots will begin the season at home on Thursday, April 21st against the Long Island Ducks at 7:05 pm. Opening Night will feature a championship Celebration that includes the raising of the 2015 Atlantic League championship flag and a pre-game ring ceremony. The Somerset Patriots will host a weekend-long Championship Celebration to commemorate the team’s sixth title in the league’s first 18 seasons. The Somerset Patriots will host 70 home games at TD Bank Ballpark during the 140 game Atlantic League schedule, running from Thursday, April 21st through Sunday, September 18th. The Somerset Patriots will host 33 home games on weekends and are currently putting together the promotional calendar that includes fireworks nights, giveaways, and theme nights. This year’s schedule is balanced with each team playing each other 10 times at home and on the road. Teams will also play one another 10 times during each half. Start times for Monday through Saturday games will normally be 7:05 pm from April through September. Sunday games in April, May, June, and September will be 1:05 pm, with games in July and August scheduled for 5:05 pm. The Patriots are home on Father’s Day on Sunday, June 19th at 1:05 pm and Labor Day on Monday, September 5th for a 6:05 pm game. The Patriots will host six 11:05 am weekday games on Wednesday, April 27th, Wednesday, May 4th, Thursday, May 26th, Wednesday, July 20th, Thursday, August 4th, and Tuesday, August 16th. The Wednesday, April 27th, Wednesday, May 4th, and Wednesday, July 20th games are day-night doubleheaders with the 11:05 am day game followed by a 7:05 pm night game.
