Basketball Avalon to Host 17th Annual Sixers Beach Bash by Staff Post August 8, 2016 (NBA.com) Are you a Philadelphia 76ers fan and going to close out your summer vacation down the jersey shore? Well, you are in luck. The 76ers will be down in Avalon for their 17th Annual Sixers Beach Bash. At Jack’s Place on Ocean Drive, it will be taking place from 3-6PM on August 27. This will definitely be happening, come rain or shine. The number one overall pick in 2016 draft for the Philadelphia 76ers, Ben Simmons, and even Joel Embiid will be there with the fans signing autographs. If you haven’t got your ticket yet, don’t worry. An all-day pass to the Beach Bash is $20. Those are available for purchase upon entry. Not only is this event a great chance to meet a few amazing players of the 76ers, a part of the proceeds raised with be given to the Sixers Youth Foundation. This charity helps with coaching and mentoring. There will be tons of performances there by the Sixers Squad Dancers and we can’t forget Mascot Franklin. The stage will be set outside of Jack’s Place on Ocean Drive. This event is open to all ages. The open beach area will have inflatables, a dunk tank, interactive games, face painting, and tons of things to do for the kids. You will even have the opportunity to purchase Philadelphia 76ers memorabilia, everything from pencils up to jerseys. We also can’t forget about the fans who are 21 and over. There is going to be celebrity bartenders, a spinning wheel, themed drinks and much more. The Sixers Prize wheel has tons of offers, including some exclusive one of a kind Sixers experiences.
