The Brooklyn Nets have signed shooting guard Archie Goodwin to a 10-day contract, the team announced on Wednesday.

With Joe Harris in the NBA concussion protocol and Sean Kilpatrick leaving Tuesday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a hamstring injury, the Nets are extremely thin at the shooting guard position.

The 22-year-old was playing for the Greensboro Swarm of the D-League, where he averaged 17 points and five rebounds per game.  Goodwin fills the 15th and final spot on Brooklyn’s roster.  He will also be the 22nd player the Nets have had under contract this season, trying a franchise high.  All but Marcus Thornton have suited up.

Goodwin was last seen in the NBA with the New Orleans Pelicans earlier this season.  He appeared in only three games for them before being waived.  Prior to that, he spent three years with the Phoenix Suns.

The Nets face the New York Knicks on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden.
