Jim Miller – UFC (411Mania) Jim Miller had a three-fight win streak and all the momentum in the world. That momentum was halted when he lost to Dustin Poirier at UFC 208 at the Barclays Center. He looks to get back on the right track when he faces Anthony Pettis at UFC 213. Combate was the first to report the news. The 33-year old Miller (28-9,1 NC) earned Fight of the Night honors at UFC 208, but a win would have been more rewarding for the fan favorite. When he last spoke to Double G Sports, the NJ native discussed how comfortable he was when on the ground. Put Miller in a corner and he will look to expose a weakness at any point in the fight. If given the opportunity, he will look to wrestle his way to victory. That will be a tough task, considering his opponent. Anthony Pettis (19-6) is looking to dominate the Lightweight Division once again. His experiment as a Featherweight ended when he lost to Max Holloway at UFC 206. Originally for the UFC Featherweight Title, Pettis missed weight, making his opportunity for gold obsolete. He is also looking to get back on track after losing four of his past five fights. It will be a battle between two respected fighters. Both are looking to prove something, but only one will have momentum back on their side. UFC 213 will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. Post Views: 2,081 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Daniel Yanofsky Baseball Editor, Misc. Sports Editor.
