SmackDown Live Women’s Roster (WWE.com) It has been so great seeing women in WWE getting opportunities they have not received before. Women around the world doing things that male performers normally do is also a sight to see. Along with the WWE Women’s Tournament, the Women’s Revolution has become a great movement. WWE is not done yet. We may finally see the women on the SmackDown Live roster reach, literally, for another opportunity. According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE is planning on a women’s Money in the Bank ladder match for a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship. The match would take place at the MITB PPV on June 18th at the Scottrade Center. While participants have not been announced yet, it isn’t hard to figure out who some of them may be. Next week on SmackDown Live, there will be a match to determine the number one contender at at the PPV to face Naomi. Whoever doesn’t win could end up in it, meaning we could see Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Carmella and/or Tamina as participants. It is unknown if WWE plans on announcing another competitor, if this was to happen. For years, fans have been craving for a match like this. We have already seen the women’s division in WWE compete in Iron Man, Hell in a Cell and Tables matches. So far there have been no ladder matches with women involved in WWE. I am sure fans are praying to the Pro Wrestling Gods / Vince McMahon that this dream becomes a reality. The wait is on for the possible announcement. Tune in at 8pm on Tuesday to find out.
