Somerset hits the road to take on the York Revolution

The Patriots go on the road to take the Revolution as Somerset looks to continue their hot start.

As the Patriots establish themselves early in the season, they head to York, Pennsylvania. Somerset is looking for their fifth straight victory and their second to open a series this year.

Somerset will send southpaw Rick Teasley, who earned a no-decision in his first start against New Britain on April 28, to the mound tonight in game one and again for the series finale on May 8.

On the mound for York in game two on May 7 will be former Patriot Mitch Atkins. The 6-foot-4 right-hander made 11 starts for Somerset in 2017 and compiled a 4-3 record with a 4.07 ERA. Somerset will send Tommy Dorminy to the mound to face Atkins.

Revolutions outfielder Justin Trapp and infielder Nate Coronado both sported Somerset uniforms last season as well.

The Patriots are looking for continued success at the plate as they bring with them the current league batting leader, infielder Will Kengor, who is in his first year with the club. Kengor boasts a .530 average and is 6-for-13 in his last five at-bats.
