One of the top atomweights in the world today, Lindsey VanZandt is on quite a roll. The New York native won two big fights this year under the Bellator brand. At Bellator 222 VanZandt (6-1) beat highly-touted Rizin star Rena Kubota via submission inside Madison Square Garden. Prior to that, she beat Tabatha Watkins via knockout at Bellator 215.

Known for her combinations, VanZandt is primarily a fighter for Invicta FC. She is looking to go 3-0 in 2019 and become one step closer to atomweight gold when she faces Jessica Delboni (8-1) at Invicta 36. This will be another true test for the young star. Inside Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Lindsey believes she is ready and that the best is yet to come.

On the latest episode of The Main Event, host Dan Yanofsky talks to Lindsey about her upcoming fight. She also goes into further detail about her MSG debut, her future and even predicts where Cris Cyborg will end up.
