On Air The Main Event, Episode 24: Lindsey VanZandt On Invicta 36, Fighting For Gold by Daniel Yanofsky August 9, 2019 Photo Credit- Dave Mandel, Invicta FC One of the top atomweights in the world today, Lindsey VanZandt is on quite a roll. The New York native won two big fights this year under the Bellator brand. At Bellator 222 VanZandt (6-1) beat highly-touted Rizin star Rena Kubota via submission inside Madison Square Garden. Prior to that, she beat Tabatha Watkins via knockout at Bellator 215. Known for her combinations, VanZandt is primarily a fighter for Invicta FC. She is looking to go 3-0 in 2019 and become one step closer to atomweight gold when she faces Jessica Delboni (8-1) at Invicta 36. This will be another true test for the young star. Inside Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Lindsey believes she is ready and that the best is yet to come.
