Baseball Chad Gaudin waived by New York Yankees The battle for the fifth starter spot got a little bit less crowded as the Yankees have released Chad Guadin. by Staff Post March 23, 2010 One player appears to have been eliminted from the 5th starter battle for the New York Yankees. The team placed Chad Gaudin on waivers today. Gaudin was acquired by the Yankees via trade last season and made 11 appearances for them. He went 2-0 with a 3.43 ERA in those 11 games, including six starts. That performance was enough for the Yankees to sign him to a one year, $2.95 million deal this offseason and give him a chance to win the 5th spot in the starting rotation. The right hander struggled this spring however. Gaudin pitched 9 1/3 innings and gave up 9 earned runs and 16 hits. If Gaudin clears waivers, the Yankees can send him to the minors or release him by paying only a portion of the contract. The battle for the 5th starter role is now down to four pitchers. Phil Hughes seems to be the favorite at this point, with Joba Chamberlain, Sergio Mitre, and Alfredo Aceves the other options. adalat oros used effects flagyl on empty stomach price ranitidine hydrochloride form 1 generic retin a 4 weeks nexium xl price shuddha guggulu himalaya tabs propranolol vision effects requip 20 mg hcl zestril information hcl zofran kids safe hcl reglan 9 month old effects coreg dosage cardiomyopathy side effects vantin allergy drug zithromax effectiveness chlamydia side effects risperdal consta while pregnant for sale Post Views: 1,400 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Staff Post Latest posts by Staff Post (see all) In The Zone Announces Initial Podcast Lineup - November 13, 2020 The Essential Resources You Need to Start Your Own Gym in 2020 - February 6, 2020 Wilder vs Fury II – How the second fight will be different to the first? - February 5, 2020 Early turnovers, defensive struggles plague the Scarlet Knights - January 26, 2020 Related TopicsChad GaudinNew York YankeesPhil Hughes Click to comment You must be logged in to post a comment Login Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
