Peter Snyder’s 2020 NFL Mock Draft 1.0

The 2019 NFL season has commenced and the Kansas City Chiefs are your Super Bowl LIV Champions. Now that the fun is over with, it is time to get down to business with our first mock blueprints for the 2020 NFL Draft.

1. Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow – QB, LSU

Barring the unimaginable, Joe Burrow is going to become the next starting QB for the Cincinnati Bengals. Burrow, a 23-year-old from Athens Ohio, is coming off the single greatest season in college football history. 5,671 passing yards, 60 TDs, a 76.3 completion percentage and just 6 INTs. Absolutely ridiculous.

As a reward for his great season, Burrow was named the 2019 Heisman trophy winner, an honor which is given out annually to the nations top performer. And oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention. In January, Burrow led his  Tigers to the National Championship in their home state of Lousiana. Could you ask for a more perfect number one overall pick?

2. Washington Redskins: Chase Young – DE, Ohio State

While a lot of this years draft may be uncertain, I do not feel as if the two first picks are up for much of a discussion. If it were not for Burrows magical season this year, Chase Young would be staying put in Ohio and playing for the Bengals come fall. The first thing that comes to mind when I watch Chase Young play is explosiveness. He is fast coming off the edge and can get to a quarterback faster than you can say watch out.

https://twitter.com/PFF_College/status/1226607875184898048?s=20

During his time at Ohio State, Young was able to rack up 30.5 sacks. Out of those 30.5 sacks, 16.5 of them came just this past year as Young had a Junior season for the record books. Now I will say, during the latter part of this season, Youngs attack of pursuit became more predictable which in turn, let it become more manageable for opposing offensive lines. During his last 3 games of the season, Young failed to record a sack, while recording just 8 total tackles in the process.

With this being said, this lack of defensive efficiency to end youngs collegiate career will not hurt his draft stock in the slightest. He is too special of a talent to pass up on. Young is a dominate force that will be creating havoc in NFL backfields for years to come.

3. Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa – QB, Alabama (Via Lions; Draft Night Trade)

Leverage can be a powerful thing in the NFL draft. Essentially, the Lions find themselves in a perfect spot with the #3 pick. They don’t really need a QB, but they can threaten to draft Tua, unless the Lions step in and offer them some picks to move up in the pecking order. If that happens, Tua is heading to Miami in hopes to become the next bright star in South Beach.

If I’m being honest, I really like Miami as a landing spot for Tagovailoa. I feel that he will fit nicely in Brian Flores’s system and the combination of Tua and DeVante Parker could be absolutely ludicrous.

Now, of course, Tagovailoa is coming off a severe hip injury which left him sidelined for the remainder of his decorated colligate career. I don’t necessarily think it’s fair to say that Tagovailoa will have a major impact during this upcoming season, but when his number does get called,  the league will be put on notice as this flying Hawaiin is a sensational talent.

4.  New York Giants: Mekhi Becton – OT, Louisville

As no surprise to anyone, the Giants need A LOT of help in this year’s draft. They need secondary help, they need LB help, they need help at the wideout position,  but most importantly, I think the Giants need help with their offensive line. Last season, it seemed as if the Giants gave up 20 sacks a game, not being able to block Joe Blow off the street corner. Luckily for the Giants, however, this years draft class is loaded with beefy talent to help protect Danny Dimes.

Why I have Mekhi Becton going to the Giants here is because one, I believe that Becton is the best OT in this entire draft, and two, he is an absolute freak of nature. Standing tall at 6’7 and weighing in at 368 pounds, Becton has the ability to dominate games at the line of scrimmage. The thing that impresses me most when I watch Becton play, is how quick he is able to move when the ball is snapped. He reminds me of a young Jason Peters in his prime.

Giants fans, I understand this is not the sexiest pick in the world, but I promise you that this pick will be worth it, as having a dominate OT can be one of the most valuable assets a team can have.

5. Detroit Lions: Jeff Okudah –  CB, Ohio State (Via the Dolphins; Draft Night Trade)

As last season came to a close, the Detroit Lions were ranked dead last in passing defense, allowing 284.4 passing yards a game.

With Darrius Slay”s return status being up in the air, the Lions are in desperate need of some help at the CB position. Hoping to provide that help will be the defensive back out of Colombus, Jeff Okudah. Okudah, a 22-year-old from Texas, has one of the brightest upsides I have ever seen heading into an NFL draft. He is quick, light on his feet and does not give WR’s he is defending an inch to breathe.

https://twitter.com/nflnetwork/status/1227955585477378048?s=20

The ironic thing about Okudah is that if you were to solely look at his numbers at Ohio State, you would think he is an average corner at best. With just three career interceptions, all of which came during this season, Okudah may seem like the type of guy to not stand out in a crowd. But you have to understand that the reason Okudah’s college numbers are so underwhelming is because the ball hardly came in his direction. QB’s were scared to throw his way because they knew that there was a good chance their pass would either be swatted into the underground or picked off and taken the other way for 6.

There is an old saying that goes; The best CB’s in football, make the least amount of noise.

6. Los Angeles Chargers: Justin Herbert – QB, Oregon

The San Diego Chargers are ready to start a new chapter to their franchise. Veteran QB,  Phillip Rivers is on his way to Indianapolis and has left a void for the chargers to fill during the upcoming draft. And while I don’t believe that Justin Herbert is necessarily the most talented QB in this draft class, I do believe that he is the most seasoned.

During his five years in Eugine, Herbert was able to build up quite the decorated resume, throwing for a total of 10,541 passing yards, distributing 95 TD passes and hurling just 23 INTs during his intercollegiate career. Herbert was also able to win 2 bowl games during his time with the Ducks which included a Rose Bowl victory this past year.

https://twitter.com/SportsCenter/status/1212553790991286273?s=20

Justin Herbert is your prototypical pocket passer. He is tall, has great arm strength, good vision and is not afraid to step into a throw, even if it means taking a lick in the process.

https://twitter.com/JimNagy_SB/status/1225397282708901889?s=20

Herbert is going to make an impact for the Chargers the second he puts on that powder blue, faint-yellow embroidered uniform. And this impact is not going to come because the Chargers are desperate for it, but because Herbert is ready. He has been ready to play on Sundays for over a year now and is as NFL ready of a QB that I have seen in a long time. Jump on the Herbert train while you can, because it is just about ready to leave the station.

 7. Carolina Panthers: Isaiah Simmons – OLB, Clemson

I now present to you, my favorite pick of the first round. Isaiah Simmons is so damn talented it’s actually scary. I firmly believe that if he pleased, Simmons could be a pro bowl calibre player at BOTH the safety and OLB position. He is that quick, that physical and that damn athletic.

Coming off a junior season in which Simmons racked up 104 tackles, 7 sacks and 3 interceptions, Simmons feels as if he can’t be stopped. There was one play in the national semifinal game against Ohio State in which Simmons dropped back in coverage, defended a WR step for step and came up with a critical INT. You are not supposed to be able to make those types of plays as an LB. I am so excited to watch this kid play in the NFL and if it was up to me, he would be taken with the first overall pick.

8. Arizona Cardinals: Andrew Thomas – OT, Georgia

Last season, Kyler Murray, newfound starting QB for the Arizona Cardinals was sacked 48 times. No, you are that reading that wrong, he was actually sacked a league-worst FOURTY EIGHT times. With that now being acknowledged, I think it is safe to make the assumption that the Cardinals have one of if not the worst offensive lines NFL and are in desperate need of help.

Cardinals fans shall fear not, however, as I am predicting them to land an absolute freight train in the likes of Andrew Thomas. Thomas, a 21-year-old from Georgia has the potential to be a star in this league. Standing tall at 6’5 and weighing in at 320 pounds, Thomas is an immovable force.

When you watch this left tackles film, the one thing that most stands out to you is his innate ability to move defenders off the line and toss them around as if they were 10-pound rag dolls. The sheer strength that is found in Thomas is not something that can be taught. He was born to be an absolute monster.

If Thomas does, in fact, end up falling to the Cardinals, I can assure you that the happiest guy to the west of the Mississipi will be none other than Mr. Kyler Murray

 9. Jacksonville Jaguars: Kristian Fulton – CB, LSU

I think it is safe to say that ever since the departure of star cornerback Jalen Ramsey, the Jaguars defense has not been the same. DUUVALL has turned into SNOOZEVAL and the Jacksonville D is in frantic need of a defensive spark to give them their swagger back.

Kristian Fulton is by no stretch of the imagination your average defensive back. His speed is something you see out an Olympic sprinter. His athletism can be compared to that of an NBA high flyer and his physicality reminds me of a roman, Olympic gladiator. Last season during his senior year at LSU, Fulton managed to gain just one modest INT, but much like Okudah, this is because the ball just doesn’t come to him that much. And by the rare chance that it does, Fulton swats it down, as he ranked 8th nationally last season with 14 pass deflections.

I really like this Louisianan born corner and feel that he has the potential to be a semi-lock down corner. Oh and by the way, GAUEX TIGAS!

 10. Cleveland Browns: Jedrick Wills Jr. – OT, Alabama

Jedrick Wills Jr., a 20-year-old from Lexington Kentucky, has not had an easy route to the NFL draft. During his first two years at Tuscaloosa, Wills struggled to keep DL from getting to the QB and was considered an average O lineman at best. But then something crazy happened. Wills worked his ass off during the offseason and came into summer camps looking like a new man. During his Junior year at Alabama, Wills was a dominating tackle who shot up the draft board every time he stepped on the field. He was so dominating in fact, that he only allowed 4 QB pressures during the final 6 games of the season. That is almost impossible to do in the SEC.

One thing that the Browns can expect to get with this pick is an extreme amount of athletism. Wills is by far, the most athletic OT to enter this draft and will allow whatever team he is drafted by, to open up their screen game tremendously. I am always a fan of the athletic O linemen so by the transitive property, I am a fan of this pick.

 11. New York Jets: Jerry Jeudy – WR, Alabama

The first WR taken out of the 2020 NFL Draft is going to be Jerry Jeudy out of Alabama. Jeudy, the 6’1 speedster from Deerfield Beach, FL reminds me of a mix between Julio Jones and Tyreek Hill. The Jets are in need of a burner who can go up and grab jump balls, and Jeudy is going to be the need to that fix.

During his three years at Tuscaloosa, Jeudy was able to rack up a total 2,742 receiving yards, caught 26 total TD passes and averaged 17.7 yards a reception. What I admire most about Jeudy, is just how damn shifty he is. Like there were multiple times this season where I thought Jeudy was dead to rights, and he somehow managed to keep the play alive, breaking it open for a monster game.

https://twitter.com/PFF_College/status/1169342623062069248?s=20

I know there is a big debate going on right now between which WR will have a bigger impact in the NFL. Jeudy, or the star-studded WR from Oklahoma, CeeDee Lamb. To me, the answer is quite easy. Jeudy all day, every day.

12.  Las Vegas Raiders: CeeDee Lamb – WR, Oklahoma

We now welcome in the swaggiest player of the 2020 draft class, CeeDee Lamb. Lamb is the type of WR you create in Madden. He has the coolest accessories, he is iced out with jewellery and most important of all, he is a hell of a football player.

Over the last few weeks of watching Lambs film, I have noticed that it is almost impossible to take him down in open space. Lamb does such a great job of making the first man miss and exploding when he has room to operate. I have also gotten the chance to really appreciate just how good of a route runner CeeDee is. He is probably the best pure route runner in this draft class and has the footwork of a galloping gazelle. Unless you have a guy who can stick with Lamb step by step, you better bring help because this dude can burn you in a blink of an eye.

13. San Francisco 49ers: Derrick Brown – DT, Auburn

Coming into this season, I thought Derrick Brown was going to be the best player in the country and as a result, be drafted with the first overall pick. I was wrong. Although Brown didn’t have a terrible Senior campaign, compiling 55 tackles to go along with 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles, it was nowhere near up the level of expectations that were put on him last summer.

.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Javon Kinlaw – DL, South Carolina

By first glance, you may not think that this pick makes a whole bunch of sense. Buccaneers LB, Shaquil Barrett, led the entire NFL in sacks last season with 19.5. However, the rest of Tampa Bays defensive front is quite thin and because the Bucs are not expected to resign Ndamukong Suh, they could sure use some help in the lumber department.

Kinlaw, a 6’6” 310 lbs DL from Charstleton, has the ability to clog up a running lane faster than a leaky faucet. When you watch Kinlaw play, one thing that immediately jumps off of the screen is how hard it is to contain him. There was one game this season against Georgia, in which Kinlaw was getting doubled teamed, and still managed a way to get Georgias QB, Jake Fromm. Kinlaw may not necessarily have the highest upside in the world, but he is a guy that could definitely help out a struggling Buccaneers front. . 15.

15. Denver Broncos: Tristan Wirfs – OT, Iowa

Iowa Football. The breeding ground for big, athletic, Tights Ends and mammoth Offensive Lineman. Wirfs, who measures in at 6’5, 322 pounds, is perhaps the most daunting force to come into this draft. During his junior year at Iowa city, Wirfs comprised one of the most dominant, yet underappreciated seasons in the history of the Big Ten. During his last 7 games of the season, the Mount Vernon product allowed just one QB pressure to go along with a run block score of 89.2.

These numbers are monumentally impressive and if the Broncos are able to grab Wirfs here with the 15th pick, it could be the steal of the draft.

16. Atlanta Falcons: A.J. Epenesa – Edge, Iowa

Coming into the fall of 2019, A.J. Epenesa was the talk of the Big Ten. The 6′ 6″, 280 lbs edge rusher from Illinois was fresh off a sophomore campaign in which he lead the Big Ten in total sacks.

As his Junior season began, Epenesa looked as if he was missing a step, struggling to get to opposing QBs like he did with ease a year ago. The edge rusher looked so flat in fact, that it looked as if Epenesa could potentially fall out of the first round completely. But thanks to a 7 sack performance in his final 4 games of the season, Epenesa was able to place himself back in the first round.

Look, the Atlanta Falcons are not a good football team. They have some explosive offensive weapons but their defense is absolutely terrible. While it is unrealistic to think that Epenesa is going to come in and immediately change the Falcons losing culture, it is a start.

17. Dallas Cowboys: Grant Delpit – S, LSU

As a diehard Eagles fan, I absolutely despise the Cowboys. But it would be unjust for me to sit here and say that I did not love this pick for them. The Cowboys need Secondary help desperately and Delpit was the best Safety in the country last year by far.

Last year, during the athletic Safeties Junior season with the Tigers, Delpit was able to rack up 65 total tackles, come down with 2 interceptions, force one fumble and deflect seven passes. What is most impressive with Delpit’s versatile arsenal, is that he has the ability to cover nearly the whole field in a matter of seconds. Great safeties are not only physical and athletic but have numerous sets of eyes in the back of their head. Delpit is that type of player and is going to make an impact on Sundays very shortly.

18. Miami Dolphins: Trevon Diggs – CB, Alabama

As we get deeper into the first round, it is clear to see that a pattern is starting to form. If Diggs were to be taken here, it would mean that 10, of the first 18 picks selected, were products of the SEC. You wanna talk about a recruiting pitch? You show a young athlete a visual from the first round of the 2020 NFL draft and he will begging to come to play down south.

In terms of the value of this pick, I feel that Diggs could really help out a faulty Miami secondary. During his senior year at Tuscaloosa, Diggs allowed opponents to squander just 13 catches for 176 yards. Those are lockdown numbers.

19. Las Vegas Raiders: Jaylon Johnson – CB, Utah

Here it is, my (Semi) bombshell of the first round. Most mock drafts do not have Jaylon Johnson going in the first round. Mel Kiper Jr of ESPN, has Johnson as the 9th best corner in this year’s draft and could see him going as late as the 4th round. And while I respect Kiper’s opinion, if Johnson were to fall to the 4th round it would be a monumental missed opportunity to let this level of talent fall that far down in the draft.

When I watched Johnson play last year at Utah, I was astonished at just how athletic he was. He would make plays that you don’t necessarily see college-level backs make and would oppose his will on a game as soon as it started.

If you look at Johson’s stat sheet, it is not going to jump out and make you want to dance. But I’m telling you, this kid has the it factor and is going to be one of the steals of this year’s draft.

 20. Jacksonville Jaguars: Patrick Queen -LB, LSU

As the great Freddy Mercury once sang, “She’s a Killer Queen, Gunpowder, gelatine
Dynamite with a laser beam Guaranteed to blow your mind Anytime.” These are the lyrics that can be described when talking about the 6’1 LB from Ventress, Lousiana.

Patrick Queen is a very physical LB who fits the description of what the Jaguars are trying to reestablish in Duval. When the Jaguars defense was at their best just a few years ago, no team in the NFL had a more physical nature to them. They would knock you on your ass and make sure you didn’t get up. Queen is exactly that type of hard hitter who should fit in just fine.

21. Philadelphia Eagles: Laviska Shenault Jr. – WR, Colorado

Greg Ward and Deontay Burnett. These were the only two Philadelphia wideouts who suited up during the Eagles 17-9 playoff loss against the Seattle Seahawks. In what became one of the most depleted WR cores in NFL history, the Eagles to restock and reload… fast.

What I like about Laviska Shenault Jr is that he is both tall and quick, which is a rare mix at the wideout position in the NFL. Usually, you are going to see two types of receivers at the professional level. The burners who line up in the slot and the tall boys who can go up and win 50 50 balls, but struggle to create much space. With Shenault Jr. however, he gets to experience the best of both worlds, as he has the ability to turn and burn, and go up and snag it at 6’1.

The Eagles have struggled with early draft picks before, but they can not afford to miss here.

 22. Minnesota Vikings: Tee Higgins – WR, Clemson

Saturday, December 7, 2020. The Clemson Tigers are once again playing in the ACC championship game and are looking to win their 5th straight conference title. As the game progressed, Tiger WR, Tee Higgins caught fire, catching seemingly everything in his path. By nights end, Clemson had seeled the ACC title and Higgins had himself a 9 catch, 182, yard, 3 TD performance.

Higgins a 6’4 wideout from Tennesse, is a guy who is going to be a matchup nightmare for DB’s in the NFL. His length allows him to extend over shorter cornerbacks and his speed allows him to generate separation. I can see Higgins having a professional career comparable to the great, Calvin Johnson.

 23. New England Patriots: Jordan Love – QB, Utah State

The Tom Brady era in New England is over. It is time for the team, along with its fanbase, to turn to a blank chapter in their franchises book and move forward. Jordan Love, is going to be the first paragraph of this new chapter.

When talking about Jordan love, I want to first establish that I am very disappointed in him. Coming into the college football season, I had Love on my Heisman watch list and was raving about the “Gunslinger from Bakersfield.” However, those expectations were not even close to being met, as Love threw for 17 INTs and only 20 TD passes.

Even though me and Love may not be on the greatest of terms currently, I still believe in the kid tremendously. He has an upside that is bigger than Mt. Everest. His arm strength is reminiscent to Josh Allen and his charisma is cooler than a Puma.  What I love about Love, is that when he throws an INT, he shakes it off instantly and keeps slinging the pigskin like it never happened. He is the college version of Jameis Winston and I think the Patriots would be silly to pass up on him.

24.  New Orleans Saints: Bryce Hall – CB, Virginia

After getting embarrassed at home last year by the Minnesota Vikings in the playoffs, it became apparent that the New Orleans Saints need help on the defensive side of the ball. We all know how explosive the Saints can be on offense, but if you can’t generate stops on defense, you have no true chance of succeeding at the professional level.

Bryce Hall is not the sexiest pick of all time. His numbers at the combine are not going to jump out and wow anyone and his production seen through film may be relatively small.  But the Harrisburg native has a grit and toughness to him that can not be measured. If you want a guy that is going to go up and put his body on the line during a 4th and goal situation, Hall is the man you want to call.

 25. Minnesota Vikings: CJ Henderson – CB, Florida

If you look at the Minnesota Vikings draft history, you will find that they love to take defensive backs high in their pecking order. (Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes, Mike Hughes.) Mixing this analysis with the fact that Xavier Rhodes may not be a Viking to start next season, the Vikings are almost certain to draft a CB here with their first-round selection.

One thing I like about CJ Henderson’s game is his ability to keep the action away from him. During his junior campaign last season with the Gators, Henderson allowed just 20 completions all season. However, the one negative I will say about the Miami native is that he has the tendency to get torched by the deep ball. If he can clean that part of his game up though, I think he has the chance to become a really good corner in the NFL.

26. Miami Dolphins: J.K. Dobbins – RB, Ohio State

It what has become the first round of the Dolphins, I really think Miami would be smart to take a back here. I know the rule of thumb is to stay away from running backs in the first round, but 37-year-old Ryan Fitzpatrick led the team in rushing last year with 243 yards. Something gotta change.

https://twitter.com/CFBONFOX/status/1172925679517818880?s=20

If the Dolphins were to select running back in the first round, they might as well go with J.K. Dobbins, who is the cream of the crop. Dobbins, a 5’7 bulldozer reminds me a lot of Ezekiel Elliott. And I know that may be cliche as both backs went to Ohio State, but I just can’t help it. Dobbins is a physical downhill runner who can explode once he gets in open space. He is also one of the tougher guys you will ever see and is a pain in the ass to bring down.  During his 3 years in Colombus, Dobbins was able to rush for a total of 4,459 yards to go along with 38 rushing TDs and ZERO fumbles. Dobbins is a special type of talent who is going to make splashes at the next level.

 27. Seattle Seahawks: K’Lavon Chaisson – Edge, LSU

Last season, Seattle’s defense went through one of their worst seasons in recent memory. The legion of boom is so far removed from the Seahawks, that it is hard to remember that they ever existed. Knowing this, Seattle needs to move on completely and draft players to become part of LOB 2.0.

https://twitter.com/JReidNFL/status/1228032598678679553?s=20

K’Lavon Chaisson is not the most athletic edge rusher in this year’s draft. But what he lacks in athleticism, he makes up with in speed and physicality. During his sophomore year with the Tigers, Chaisson was able to register 6.5 sacks to go along with 60 tackles and one forced fumble. The 6′ 4″, 250 lbs edge rusher from Texas is one of the more underrated players in this draft and could be a late first-round steal.

28. Baltimore Ravens: Zack Baun – Edge, Wisconsin

Zack Baun is your typical Wisconsin man. Big, physical and conosure of cheese. One thing that Baun can immediately help the Ravens with in 2020 is defensive pressure. In 2019, Baun recorded 12.5 sacks for the Badgers, compiled 76 tackles, forced 2 fumbles and even came down with an INT.

https://twitter.com/PFF_College/status/1220086032227557377?s=20

Baun is the type of player who can both bring pressure on the edge, but also drop back in coverage and defend as an OLB. This is a win-win situation for Baltimore and I don’t see them passing up on this opportunity.

29. Tennessee Titans: Josh Jones – OT, Houston

Last season, the Tennesse Titans road their high horse (being Derrick Henry) all the way to the sunset. The Titans had a magical postseason run in which they defeated the Patriots on the road, the SB favorite Ravens away from home and were 3 quarters away from making a trip to super bowl LIV.

Knowing that Derrick Henry is the Titans past, present and future, it would only make sense that the Titans would draft more beef up front to give their superstar room to operate.  Jones, a 6’5, 311-pound tackle from Richmond Texas, is the type of O lineman teams can only dream of having. Jones is extremely athletic for his size and has the range of motion that you would see from a TE. I really like this pick and think Derrick Henry can only get better from it.

30. Green Bay Packers: Justin Jefferson – WR, LSU

On December 28th, 2019, during the CFP playoff semi-final, Justin Jefferson had a day for the ages. 14 receptions, 227 yards, 4 TDs. Absolutely insane. But the thing that may be actually more insane, is that Jefferson put these types of numbers up all season long. By the end of his junior campaign, Jefferson had accounted for 1,540 receiving yards to go along with 18 TD receptions, both of which ranked in the upper echelon nationally.

https://twitter.com/SportsCenter/status/1211066925402525696?s=20

Jefferson is not the most coveted WR coming into the draft because of his size (only weighs 192 pounds) but when this dude gets into a zone, WATCH OUT!

31. San Francisco 49ers: Xavier McKinney –  S, Alabama

It goes without saying that the San Fransisco 49ers had the best defense in the NFL last year. They were faster than everyone, more athletic than everyone and made plays all season long. With this observation being made, it may lead you to believe that the Niners do not need help defensively coming into the new year. But as they say the rich get richer and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Xavier McKinney was born to play in the NFL. Ever since he stepped on campus in Tuscaloosa during the fall of 2017, he didn’t belong. He was stronger than the rest of the guys, faster than the rest of the guys and has Nick Saban licking his chops. As his collegiate career ascended, McKinney began to rough guys up like he was Ray Lewis, forcing forced fumble after forced fumble. This is a guy that is not only ready for the NFL, but has been ready for years and is going to make some noise in the Bay Area the second he steps on the field.

32. Kansas City Chiefs: Kenneth Murray – LB, Oklahoma

For an Oklahoma defense that has really struggled over the last couples of years, Kenneth Murray has been a surprising bright spot to the city of Norman. Murray, a 6′ 2, 243 lbs LB from Missouri City Texas, is one of the toughest players you are ever going to find at the collegiate level. During his time at Oklahoma, Murray put together quite the decorated resume, accounting for 334 total tackles, 9 sacks and 6 pass deflections.

One thing that the Chiefs can expect if they draft Murray, is a sense of dependability, as Kenneth missed only a handful of snaps during his 3 years in Norman. I don’t necessarily think Murray is a pro bowl calibre player, but he could be a guy that sees a good amount of playing time early which will allow him to make a name for himself.
