My mom’s friend works for an event agency. A modeling company from Florida called asking if they had any models to work an event. My mom’s friend told them her company deals with running events, not models, but she forwarded them my number. They contacted me; I worked the event and met models who gave me beneficial tips on getting started in the industry. Six photo shoots and a few promotional modeling companies later, I’m doing very well!So far, what has been your favorite modeling shoot or experience?I don’t have a favorite because every event & photographer is different. I’ve worked with many amazing models & photographers and have met a lot of interesting, creative people. What kinds of modeling are you most interested in and why?I’m most interested in promotional modeling. It is a relatively easy, fun job that pays well and offers a flexible schedule. I don’t have the height requirements for fashion or runway and getting into commercial/print modeling requires a lot of work!Being in shape is major in the entertaining business. Do you work out, if so, how often and how rigorous is your routine?I work out 5-6 days a week. Variety is key. I run, cycle, hike, practice yoga, pop in a P90X DVD, or take a cardio kickboxing or boot camp class at the gym. Staying fit and healthy is extremely important to me.What are your goals as a model?
