The second game hosting the Harrisburg Senators Tuesday night proved to be a back-and-forth thriller at Arm & Hammer Park.

Catcher Jorge Saez hit a game tying homer in the bottom of the seventh, then a monster go ahead three-run blast in the eighth to cap off his four RBI day and propelling Trenton to a four-game winning streak.

Trenton Thunder are pitching well, hitting well, and enjoying first place in the Eastern League standings with a 16-8 record.

Following a sweep of N.H. and winning two of three from Erie to wrap up April, Trenton continues their hot start, winning the first two games in May.

Thunder pitching continues to dominate, with three starters under the 3.00 ERA benchmark.

Ace Chance Adams made a strong argument for player of the month in April and carried that through his May 1 shutout, improving his year to 4-0 .064 ERA in five starts.

Top prospect Gleyber Torres has returned with a fury following his brief stint on the DL, hitting nine for his last 15 including a three hit game on Monday. Torres is showing great eyes and discipline at the plate, working to stay ahead in counts and be selective on pitches. He has now improved his season average to .321, second only to Zack Zehner at .333.
