Trenton Thunder announced Saturday their ace RHP Chance Adams would be promoted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

The 22 year old top prospect had an impressive Double-A debut last year, but an even more dazzling start in 2017.

In six starts and 35.0 IP, Adams posted a league leading 1.03 ERA allowing only 23 hits and six runs.

Chance sports a filthy slider and changeup to compliment his 95mph fastball.

Though most expected his rising stardom to continue to Triple-A, Adam’s great start has accelerated the timeline drastically.

Chance Adams is currently listed as the Yankees #7 overall prospect.

Trenton will receive RHP Brady Lail to stay maxed at their 25 man roster. Lail has had a rough start to the year, posting 1-2 record and 5.88 ERA in his six starts.

Thunder remains in first place in the Eastern League standings with a .606 win percentage.
