Incoming First Ballot Hall of Fame Quarterback Looking Shredded Post NFL Career

Somebody might be downsizing for that gold jacket.

All too often, we see professional athletes having to maintain a certain playing weight to sustain a career in their respective sport. Some can get away with playing too light, or even too heavy. Particularly in the NFL, the recent trend the past 5-plus years has been players (linemen more times than not) undergoing dramatic weight loss and ultimate physique transformations.

We’ve seen it from former stud Cleveland Browns OL Joe Thomas (future Hall of Famer), New York Jets Damien Woody, recent Baltimore Ravens OL retiree Marshall Yanda among countless others. Now, it appears somebody else has joined “Let’s Get Yoked” club.

Peyton Manning’s Post NFL Career Look

Former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos QB and current legend, Peyton Manning, decided to re-dedicate his competitive edge against another opponent, himself. After being listed at 230 pounds for most of his playing days, a new picture has emerged from a shirtless Manning frolicking in the ocean…. And he looks SHREDDED. Seriously, check out the defined core and chiseled arms. Send that workout and diet plan this way!

The 2-time Super Bowl Champion rode off into the sunset after his Broncos defeated Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 back in 2016. A 5-time league MVP, 7-time All-Pro, and a 14-time Pro Bowler, Manning hung up his cleats with 539 touchdown passes and 71,940 yards. The 44-year-old is in his first year of eligibility for a Hall of Fame jacket next August.

While we admire the feats accomplished on the gridiron over a 17-year career from “The Sheriff,” it’s awesome to see him focus that legendary work ethic and drive on recreating himself.

Good for you, Peyton. That jacket is going to look even better on you!
