Baseball How to watch the Carlos Beltran-Mets press conference by Daniel Yanofsky November 4, 2019 The Mets are set to begin a new chapter with a familiar face. Carlos Beltran has become the new manager, replacing Mickey Callaway. For the first time since trading him to the Giants in 2011, the Mets will reintroduce Beltran to the New York media, where he will state his goals for the 2020 season, among other things. The Mets will be making the Beltran hire official today (Nov. 4) at 11 a.m. Unlike previous press conferences, this will not be streamed on SNY. Andrew Marchand of the New York Post announced that everything will be streamed on the team’s social media channels, and MLB Network. The reasoning behind this? An opportunity to take advantage of social media and all alternative streaming services. Como said that since the Beltran press conference is at 11, SNY believes it will reach more viewers by going digital. If it were at 6 pm, it would be on SNY TV, he said. — Andrew Marchand (@AndrewMarchand) November 4, 2019 Tune in at 11 a.m. where the Mets’ social media accounts will be working extremely hard for the fans. SNY also announced that they will re-air the press conference in its entirety at noon. https://twitter.com/Mets/status/1191373190704123904 Post Views: 859 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Daniel Yanofsky Baseball Editor, Misc.
