Madison Square Garden hosts some of the best athletes, musicians, performers and artists that exist on the planet. This week is no different, as a variety of music artists and New York sports teams are filling up the schedule for the first week of March. Let’s dive into the events this week at MSG, with ticket price information provided by RazorGator.com. 3/5/2015 | Maroon 5, Magic! & Rozzi Crane | Avg: $558.40 | Get-in: $100 Multi platinum-selling and Grammy Award-winning rock band, Maroon 5, revealed details of The Maroon 5 World Tour 2015 in support of the band’s fifth studio album, V. Their new album, V, featuring the Billboard Top 10 smash hit, “Maps,” and their brand new single, “Animals,” was released on August 29th. V debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, selling 164,000 copies in the first week. MAGIC! will join the tour as special guests and Rozzi Crane will open the tour in the US. MSG is hosting shows on March 5th and March 6th and Maroon 5 tickets will cost more than any other event at the venue this week. 3/7/2015 | New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers | Avg: $194.02 | Get-in: $40 Although the New York Knicks have the worst record in the NBA, they always want to beat their rival Indiana Pacers. The Pacers are 8-2 in their last 10 games and are currently the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race, fending off Brooklyn and Charlotte. The Knicks would like nothing more than to make their rival’s path to the playoffs more difficult. As of Monday, the Knicks have won two in a row and look to continue their play into the month of March. 3/8/2015 | Ricardo Arjona | Avg: $389.86 | Get-in: $124 Ricardo Arjona, who has sold more than 20 million albums and is one of the most successful and respected Latin-American singer songwriters of all time, will launch his acclaimed VIAJE TOUR stateside. U.S. fans have not seen the legendary singer/songwriter perform on a tour of this scale ever. In Argentina alone, his VIAJE TOUR attracted more than 200,000 people to the GEBA Stadium Buenos Aires, breaking all previous records in the stadium. The critically acclaimed Arjona had released fourteen studio albums, one live album, nine compilation albums and 43 singles. He has had four No. 1 albums on the Billboard Top Latin Albums, and four No. 1 singles on the Billboard Top Latin Single charts. His work earned him numerous awards and accolades, including one Grammy Award, one Latin Grammy Award and many others.
