If you caught a glimpse of Faber’s Instagram story, you heard White telling Faber that the pay-per-view did an astounding 6.5 million buys. That is almost 2 million buys more than the previous record held by Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao in 2015. Leading up to Saturday night’s mega-fight, Showtime Executives were skeptical if the fight would beat the previous record.
