Baseball Mid-May MLB Power Rankings Double G Sports Expert Panel’s Mid May MLB Power Rankings by Staff Post May 14, 2010 The Double G Sports Expert Panel has been polled once again to come up with our Major League Baseball Power Rankings for May. This is the second power rankings release of this season as we did a very early one in Mid-April. You can see those rankings here. For this months rankings, there was plenty of movement up and down the ranks. The Tampa Bay Rays received every first place vote this month. The biggest mover was the San Diego Padres as they jumped up 23 spots and currently sit at number six in our rankings. The biggest drop from last month was the Arizona Diamondbacks. They fell 14 spots to 24th overall. Also, Double G Sports apparently does not completely agree with standings either. Despite being ahead of the Rockies in the NL West, the Dodgers are ranked one spot lower then Colorado in our rankings this month.
