Baseball Patriots Rally Late To Win It 2-1 by Somerset Patriots August 8, 2015 Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots (16-12, 66-32) defeated the Camden Riversharks (9-19, 38-60) 2-1 at TD Bank Ballpark on Saturday night. All the scoring for both teams took place in the seventh inning. In the top of the frame, Camden went up 1-0 on an RBI single by Joel Guzman. Somerset immediately answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning. After a walk by Nate Spears and a single by Aharon Eggleston, the big blow came off the bat of Adam Donachie, who drove both home on a two-run single for the 2-1 final. Mickey Storey (7-3) picked up the win, allowing a run on four hits and seven strikeouts in seven innings pitched. Bill Murphy (3-12) suffered the loss, allowing two earned runs on five hits and six strikeouts in 6.2 innings pitched. Jon Hunton earned his 27th save of the season with a scoreless inning pitched, highlighted by an extraordinary double play turned by David Vidal, Spears, and Donachie. The 2015 Somerset Patriots Season presented by Ford will continue at home on Sunday night for a 5:05 pm game against the Sugar Land Skeeters.
