Red Bulls Sign Gideon Baah

The Red Bulls have attempted to sure up their defense with the signing of Gideon Baah, a 24-year-old Ghanaian center back with some very impressive entries on his resume. Baah has already played in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League as well as debuting for his country in international play last October.

As you can imagine this is an exciting move for the Red Bulls. Sporting Director Ali Curtis had this to say about the signing: “Gideon has all the characteristics we were looking for in a central defender. He fits our style of play extremely well and we are anxious to have him get started with our club.”

The Red Bulls may have lost Matt Miazga this offseason, but they seem to have found a worthy replacement in Gideon Baah. Only time will tell, but his experience matched up with his age is a win-win for the Red Bulls.
