He will be able to show why he actually is the best the UFC has to offer in his backyard of New York City at UFC 230. Burgos is scheduled to face Kurt Holobaugh. Newsday was the first to report the fight. This will be Burgos’ (10-1) fourth fight on a New York card. He previously fought at UFC Fight Night 102 in Albany, UFC 210 in Buffalo and UFC on Fox 25 on Long Island. The 27 year old scored his first loss of his pro career back at UFC 220 in January. He lost to Calvin Kattar via third-round TKO. Holobaugh (17-5 (1NC) returned to the UFC at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series back in July 2017, in a no contest bout against Matt Bessette. He lost his last fight to Raoni Barcelos at UFC Fight Night 122 via third-round TKO. His only other fight in the UFC was a unanimous decision loss to Steven Siler at UFC 159. Between the last fight and his recent return, Holobaugh primarily fought for Titan FC. UFC 230 takes place on November 3 inside Madison Square Garden. No main event has been announced yet.
