The Atlanta Hawks star was on ESPN’s The Jump and revealed he has inked a multi-year extension with the brand, which will bring a signature sneaker, the Trae Young 1, in Fall 2021. “I’m super excited,” Young said. “This is a dream come true for me. I dreamed as a kid, just playing on those little goals in your room, putting on [signature] shoes and dreaming of being that player.” https://twitter.com/TheTraeYoung/status/1336770628674871298?s=20 Trae Young discusses his upcoming Adidas signature shoe on The Jump with @Rachel__Nichols. That places him in rarified air, even among stars in the league, and the Hawks surrounded him with a notable uptick in NBA-ready talent in advance of the 2020-21 season. Young is primed for a potential All-NBA season in 2020-21 and, perhaps more importantly, he is the centerpiece of a team that projects to take a significant step next season. Clearly, Adidas is fully aware of this and now is a great time to drop his first signature sneaker and release this new swag.
