Feature Double G Sports Girls – Paola by Staff Post May 24, 2011 Earlier this week you met Miss Double G Sports 2001, Andrea, and now it’s time to start meeting the rest of the Double G Sports Girls team. First up is the beautiful and extremely talented Paola. Paola was born in Bogota, Colombia and began taking modeling, acting, and dance classes at the early age of seven. Soon after that, her family moved to the United States and settled in New Jersey. Luckily for Paola, this brought her closer to the entertainment industry. Paola has become a rising star as a singer, model, and actress. She currently performs as a solo artist at entertainment venues throughout New York & New Jersey. She also loves sports! Paola has joined the Double G Sports Girls team as a way to continue her modeling career and bring her enthusiasm for sports to our readers. Look for more information on Paola’s first album release in the near future. For the time being, get to know Paola as she answers some fun, informative questions for Double G Sports… Modeling How did you get started in modeling? I started modeling at the age of 7. My mom had my sister and I take some basic modeling classes in Columbia. In this class, we learned all the basics like How to walk, sit, etc. So far, what has been your favorite modeling shoot or experience and why? The most fun I had shooting was a beach shoot I did in Atlantic City. It was a swim shoot, and I was natural. Playing in the sand, etc. What kinds of modeling are you most interested in and why? I am open to a lot of print, commercial, edgy, and some classy-sexy..No nudity! Being in shape is major in the entertaining business. Do you work out? If so, how often and how rigorous is your routine? Yes, I definitely work out. I try to go to the gym as much as I can. Usually 3 or 4 times a week. Double G Sports Tell us your feelings on your first Double G Sports photo shoot? I loved shooting for Double G Sports. Not only were all the other girls nice, and sweet, but the photographer made the shoot go smooth and fun. Do you have any favorite sports teams or players? I am a Yankee fan all the way! But I don’t mind watching all other teams, especially the players!!! (wink). Always nice to see a guy in shape. As a Double G Sports Girl, what can you bring to the website, How can you help promote and get the name out? I believe that promoting won’t be an issue. As an entertainer, promoting is part of the package and being a Double G Sports Girl will definitely draw attention to the site!! Guys love sports and now they got the girls with it!! If Double G Sports had you run an event for them, what would you plan? I would love for Double G Sports to create a Girls calendar, and have an event where our viewers can come and purchase the calendar, meet and greet with the girls and maybe have some give aways – ie: t-shirts with the website logo. Fun/Random Questions If you could play any sport professionally, what would it be? I would love to play soccer or volleyball How would you change sports to make it more entertaining? I would add artist performances for all halftimes. What are your hobbies? My hobbies are dancing, sleeping, shopping, pedicures, and buying music on iTunes. Do you have any unusual talents? I can burp nonstop 🙂 First Kiss: I was 5 years old, playing house. What is the best date you’ve ever been on? Dinner at “Avenue”. Fireworks by the beach and lots of hapiness in the air. What is the worst pickup line you’ve ever heard? “Your pants are like a mirror, because I can see myself in them” Yuk! What do you look for in a guy? Family is very important, so I definitely want someone that respects their family. Great sense of humor, because sometimes I think I am a comedian. Someone who loves to work out because I need motivation. Someone that loves spanish food, because I am Latina and food is important!! Who is your biggest athelete/celebrity crush? David Beckham hands down! Who’s your girl crush? My girl crush is definitely Kim Kardashian. What is your dream job? To be a full time artist/model/anything in the entertainment business. Singer to be exact. If you could have dinner with any three people, who would they be? Kera, Baby, and Hien (The Fav Four). They are my girls, and with them I can laugh, cry, and do it all! If you found $20 in your pocket, what would you spend it on? I would spend it on a spray tan. Favorite TV Show: Re-runs of Friends and Sex in the City Favorite Holiday: Valentine’s Day Favorite Movie: The Notebook Favorite Food: Colombian / Italian What is your biggest fear? Not making my dreams a reality. What’s the weirdest experience of your life? Eating ants. And loving it! What’s the wildest thing you’ve ever done? Sky Diving Is there anything you think people would be surprised to know about you? That I have a really nasty temper. What makes a woman sexy? Confidence What part of your body are you most proud of? My legs What is one thing you can’t live without? My cell phone If you could be on a reality TV show, which one would it be? My own. I want to have one actually about my life. My life is a complete movie. Biggest pet peeve? Slow drivers in the fast lane. Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years? I see myself doing a world tour 🙂 How do you blow off steam? Crying Are you a big partier? Yes. I love music and I love to dance…and if you have music and a dance floor, you know I am going to create a party! Skinny-dipping, You in? OMG Yes! I love water. What’s your go-to BBQ food? Cheeseburgers are my weakness What was your favorite song in middle school? B.I.G. “Life after Death”, the entire album.
