Al Davis vs The NFL

Al Davis vs. The NFL documentary is set to be released on February 4, 9 pm ET on ESPN. Al Davis was the owner of the Raiders NFL football league, and his rival,  NFL’s commissioner Pete Roselle. The two of them had football’s biggest dispute in NFL history that ended up changing football forever.  In the 30 by 30 documentary the NFL league would not approve of Davis getting his own stadium for his team, and this eventually leads to a lawsuit.

The 30 by 30 documentary is a close look into the story about how Davis got himself into fighting for his team to have their own stadium and the lawsuit that got them there. It’s an exclusive look into how Davis became the first NFL coach to create a winning not only in Oakland, but then in Los Angles. The 30 by 30 documentary gives watchers an inside look at both Pete and Davis and their stories during this historical time.

30 by 30 Documentary Antitrust Lawsuit:

Al wanted to move his team to Los Angles, and he wanted them to have their own stadium there. They had to be approved by the leagues, and through four different people, they were not approved. However, through Davis’ persistence and stubbornness, he fought to get The Raiders to move to Los Angeles from Oakland. The team filed a lawsuit against the NFL trying to let them make their move. Davis actually tried moving them there himself without permission but found that was too difficult. He was persistent enough to get the people who worked in the leagues to eventually let them move there.
