Pro Wrestling It’s Official: Chris Hero has returned to WWE by Daniel Yanofsky January 5, 2017 Chris Hero (Triple H Twitter) Oh No (or in this case, yes)! A rumor can finally be put to bed. A few months ago, we reported that WWE might have re-signed Chris Hero to come back to NXT. Nothing was confirmed however, especially after Hero repeatedly “denied” the claims. That all changed tonight at NXT’s television taping’s at Full Sail University. After a tag team match with NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, a familiar face stepped out of the curtain and inside the NXT ring. Using his WWE name Kassius Ohno, he immediately made an impact, putting the champ on notice. WWE posted several photos and videos of the appearance online, giving fans the ultimate spoiler. As usual, Triple H made it official with one simple post. httpss://twitter.com/TripleH/status/817204569314836480?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet Hero was with WWE for a while before departing in 2013. Since then, the “Knockout Artist” has been a true workhorse, working in every Independent wrestling company out there. WWE is apparently in “signing mode”, and this may be the proof we need that they are serious. The 37-year old is one of the hottest commodities in wrestling today. His experience could help a lot of young talent in NXT out, and could provide some fresh storyline’s for the brand. With rumors that NXT talent will be moving up to the main roster soon, this was the right move for WWE. Unfortunately, it means that a lot of promotions will lose an opportunity to have Hero wrestle for them. Some wrestlers have already taken advantage of that opportunity, like Joey Ryan. A “hero” has returned to NXT, and his name is Kassius Ohno. Here’s hoping the saying, “second time’s the charm” is true for both parties. httpss://twitter.com/thechrishero/status/817207064837689348 Post Views: 1,353 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Daniel Yanofsky Baseball Editor, Misc.
