(Photo Credit: Wendell Cruz) As the Boston Red Sox got ready to face off against the New York Yankees over the weekend, there was an unexpected guest in the crowd. Proudly boasting a Yankee jersey, New York Knicks rookie Frank Ntilikina was on hand to lend his support to the team. Hopefully this shows that the young French player is embracing life in the Big Apple. It’s always good for fans to see their home team players showing support to one another. When the NBA season restarts Frank will need the same support, and maybe even a bit more. With Carmelo Anthony’s position on the team still up in the air, Ntilikina will be joining Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway Jr. this upcoming season. The trio look to bring a new culture to New York basketball, all the while taking on the likes of many retooled and talented teams. The possibility of taking the reins at starting point guard puts even more on Ntilikina’s plate. With a make or break season on the horizon, Ntilikina has only a little time left to relax. With any luck he’ll get to enjoy at least few more games before the NBA season rolls back around.
