Uncategorized Knicks Tickets Exhibiting Standout Value The Rest Of The Way by Staff Post March 7, 2016 The New York Knicks (26-38, 3rd in Atlantic Division) look like they’re going to miss the playoffs for the third straight year, but fans can still head to Madison Square Garden to watch some interesting late season matchups. The Knicks are currently embarking upon a six-game road trip, but will return home on March 20th to face the Sacramento Kings. New York’s final home games include match-ups against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Toronto Raptors, and Indiana Pacers. With some of the Eastern Conference’s best teams heading to Madison Square Garden, some of New York’s younger players will have a chance to set-up and compete against seasoned veteran squads. One of the lone bright spots for New York has been the play of rookie power forward, Kristaps Porzingis. Porzingis is averaging 14.0 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game and is in contention for Rookie of the Year honors. Porzingis did injure his leg, so fans are hoping he can return to action in the near future. Ticket information for each of New York’s remaining home games is presented below. 3/20/16 Sacramento Kings @ New York Knicks | Get-in: $62 The Sacramento Kings will make their only pit stop at Madison Square Garden on March 20th. New York will be seeking revenge after dropping a close 99-97 decision in Sacramento. Rajon Rondo scored 16 points, handed out 12 assists, and collected nine rebounds in the victory. Carmelo Anthony scored 23 points and hauled in 14 rebounds in the loss. Anthony missed a game-winning three pointer at the buzzer, so expect a big effort from him in this contest. 3/24/16 Chicago Bulls @ New York Knicks | Get-in: $124 The Chicago Bulls have split their first two meetings against New York. Their meeting on March 24th will be the second half of a brief ‘home and home’ mini-series. Chicago won its most recent meeting against New York, a 108-81 drubbing, at the United Center. Jimmy Butler scored 23 points in the win while rookie Bobby Portis had 16 points and ten rebounds. Ticket prices have surged for this game, so fans hoping to buy Chicago vs. New York Knicks tickets should act soon. 3/26/16 Cleveland Cavaliers @ New York Knicks | Get-in: $170 The Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks will meet for the fourth and final time on March 26th. Cleveland has won all of its prior meetings against New York and will look to finish off a season sweep. LeBron James always relishes in the opportunity to play in New York—and has posted some big efforts in prior years. James has two 50-point games in his illustrious career at Madison Square Garden, so expect another big effort for him. Cavaliers tickets vs. the Knicks start at $170, which is the highest get-in price on New York’s remaining home slate. 4/1/16 Brooklyn Nets @ New York Knicks | Get-in: $67 Brooklyn has won two of its three meetings against New York, but some of the players that contributed to those victories are playing elsewhere. Joe Johnson and Deron Williams, players that contributed in both victories, are playing for other teams. The burden will fall on Thaddeus Young and Brook Lopez to carry this team. Lopez scored 33 points and collected eight rebounds in Brooklyn’s most recent victory over New York. Anthony had 22 points and seven rebounds in the loss. 4/3/16 Indiana Pacers @ New York Knicks | Get-in: $51 The Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks have only played once this season, but unfortunately for Knicks’ fans, Indiana took home a victory. In February, Indiana won a closely contested 108-105 game. Paul George scored 27 points, 25 of which came in the second half, to propel his team to victory. Porzingis scored 22 points in the loss. 4/6/16 Charlotte Hornets @ New York Knicks | Get-in: $43 The Charlotte Hornets have won two of its first three meetings against New York, but is searching for its first win at Madison Square Garden under its re-branded identity. Earlier this season, New York toppled Charlotte at Madison Square Garden, 102-94. Porzingis scored 29 points to pace the Knicks while Kemba Walker, a New York City native, scored 31 points in a losing effort. Walker tends to play very well at Madison Square Garden, so limiting his opportunities will be a key to victory. 4/10/16 Toronto Raptors @ New York Knicks | Get-in: $67 New York’s final home game of the regular season will occur on April 10th. New York will welcome one of the Eastern Conference’s best teams, the Toronto Raptors, to Madison Square Garden for its regular season finale. New York has dropped two of its three contests against Toronto and may pick-up a victory if Toronto opts to rest some of its starters. Fans are hoping that Kyle Lowry is among the inactives for Toronto. In three games against New York, Lowry is averaging 23.7 points per game, ten assists per game, and 7.7 rebounds per game.. Fans traveling to the game can find great spots and locations for Madison Square Garden parking. Expect a big effort from Carmelo and Co. in its final home game of the 2015-16 regular season.
